AquaCycle 900 is the only credible domestic greywater recycling system in the world today. The patented ‘smart clean’ system is a 100% biomechanical treatment process, (no chemicals).

The AquaCycle makes it possible to use water from bath and shower a second time – for toilets, washing machine, car wash and garden.

Water quality must meet the European Directive 76/160/EWG for recreational water. To the eye the clean water looks like drinking water, cool, clear, colourless and odourless.

The AquaCycle 900 system is a stand alone, self contained above ground unit, made up of three modular tanks, each of 300ltr capacity. The greywater is gravity fed into AquaCycle, and the clarified clean water is direct pressure fed to toilets, washing machine and outside tap.

Tank one and two are settlement tanks, tank one having a SS mesh type filter arrangement which is back washed on a timed basis. Tank one and two also have sediment extracted on a timed basis, these two tanks also have oxygen pumped through them and small foam rubber pieces moving around on which a bio-culture form, which is part of the biological cleaning process. From tank two the water is pumped through a U-V disinfection into the clean tank.

This is how Aquacycle™ works

	Pre-Filtration Larger particles like hair and textile fragments are collected. The filter is automatically flushed by a special spray pump - sediments are washed away into the main wastewater drain.		UV-Sterilisation On the way to the storage chamber the recycled water flows through a UV-light lamp, which disinfects it. The high quality of the water now conforms with the E.U. Directive for Recreational Water.
	Two-fold Biological Treatment In the main and secondary recycling chambers the dirt particles are decomposed by bio-cultures. The water is pumped to the next station in three hour intervals.		Automatic freshwater feed on demand Should the supply in the storage unti drop below a certain level, freshwater will automatically be fed into this chamber to ensure there is enough supply for flushing the toilets
	Sediment Disposal The organic sediments which are produced during the recycling process are regularly sucked out from the chambers and diverted into the wastewater drain.
